The infrastructure at River Pines consisted of River Pines Drive and two shared driveways which had the water, gas mains. Next to the road were the electrical, phone and TV cable in underground trenches.

The electrical, phone and TV conduits were installed next to the roads was they were graded in 2003 and 2004.  The water and gas lines were delayed because the City of Reno wanted to build a large sewer line below the planned water and gas lines.  The sewer line was called the Lawton Verdi Interceptor and end up being a cancelled  Obama stimulus project.

In 2008 and 2009 several attempts were made to provide River Pines with water service.  But as of May 2012 there is no water service and no viable plan to provide the needed infrastructure.
